Tell us a little about your business – what does Electric Plus do and how do you serve your clients?
Electric Plus is a full-service electrical contractor headquartered in Central Indiana, serving clients across commercial, industrial, and specialty markets. Our capabilities include construction, systems and low voltage, industrial work, building management systems (BMS), design/build, service, and BIM/VDC support. We partner closely with our clients to deliver safe, reliable, and innovative electrical solutions, tailoring our approach to each project while focusing on long-term relationships and consistent quality.
Beyond our work in the field, Electric Plus is deeply committed to giving back to our communities we serve through Electric Plus Cares, our employee-driven charitable initiative founded in 2020. Electric Plus Cares allows employees to contribute through payroll deductions or one-time donations, with funds supporting local individuals, families, nonprofits, and community needs. Since its inception, Electric Plus Cares has donated over $230,000 back into our local communities, reinforcing our belief that supporting where we live and work truly matters.
Community involvement is also reflected through events like Electric Plus Day at the Fair, where employees and their families come together to celebrate teamwork, connection, and company pride. Another event is ‘Spark & Fuel’ our annual car and motorcycle show that brings the community together while showcasing automotive passion with all proceeds from the event directly benefiting Electric Plus Cares, further extending our impact beyond the job site. What truly differentiates Electric Plus is our people and our culture. As an employee-owned company, our team members are personally invested in the success of both our clients and the organization. Technology plays a critical role in nearly every aspect of our operation; from project coordination and BIM modeling to field communication and back-office efficiency. As Electric Plus continued to grow, it became clear we needed a proactive IT partner who could scale with us, help strengthen our systems, and provide strategic guidance rather than just reactive support. Tell us about your goals and hopes for the future. Any exciting news on the horizon?
The future is incredibly exciting at Electric Plus. We recently celebrated our 20th anniversary, marking two decades of growth, innovation, and a strong commitment to our people, clients, and communities. As we look ahead, our focus remains on intentional, sustainable growth as we continue to expand our capabilities while preserving the culture and values that define us. We’re investing heavily in people and development through initiatives like Plus University, which supports ongoing training and professional growth across the organization. This summer, we’re also welcoming 13 interns, reinforcing our commitment to developing the next generation of skilled professionals.
Alongside that growth, we anticipate reaching approximately 900 employees by this summer (if not sooner) which is a milestone that reflects both opportunity and momentum. Operationally, we’re continuing to pursue and bid on some exciting, high-impact projects across multiple markets while scaling our infrastructure to support that growth. Our fleet has grown to more than 260 trucks and vans, enabling our teams to serve clients efficiently and safely across a wide geographic footprint.
