Tell us a little about your organization – what are all the things LD Smith Plumbing does and how do you serve your clients?

We are a locally owned and community focused Plumbing, Natural Gas, Sewer and Drains contractor. Licensed and insured service Central Indiana and existing clients throughout Indiana. Our only job is managing, treating and directing water and what it contains.

 

Our main tagline is Dirty.Stinking.Honest. Lance, owner, takes pride in that we do the DIRTY jobs that many other contractors avoid, the STINKING ones that many plumbing companies refuse to do and we are HONEST in our evaluation and pricing.

 

What makes you stand out from others at the forefront of your field?

Plumbing and Drains, that’s what we do. It’s our sole priority. Unlike many home services companies around Indy, we have one focal point instead of two or three or more. Being locally owned with a community involved team, decisions are made in house and outside of private equity influence.

 

Why, in your opinion, is your website an important part of your success? What was your catalyst for having C2IT design a new site for you?

The buying process for a vast majority of our clients is quite fast. Something goes wrong, they are looking for someone to fix their water heater. The space is very competitive in both service and pricing. Having a website that our clients can access on any media device that highlights our capabilities and our stability is very important to our success.

 

Having a site that validates what customers have heard either from their friends/family or from our multi-channel marketing efforts was the main reason for choosing C2IT.

 

From the first conversation, what was the experience like working with C2IT? What did you appreciate about the team at C2IT and how they worked with you?

Always a pleasure. From the BizDev professional, through the Project Manager, then the site designer, a howdy from the owner and continuing with tech support, each interaction has been highlighted with attention, perseverance and a joyous, service-centered approach.

Each stage and the patience for the changes during the development and continuing with the additions and adjustments since launch, has proven C2IT’s values are words put in practice, not just words on a paper. The overall pricing and delivery timeline was very competitive in another competitive space.

 

During each round table discussion about the site’s design and delivery, I witnessed how the development team worked through our ideas to create the site we envisioned. Even when things got a little complicated and outside of the agreed upon SOW, they were gracious in making the adjustments.

 

How have you seen your new website serve your overall mission since its launch? What should people look for when they go visit?

The site is designed to validate who we are and what we do. Each product line has its own distinct page. A client can also find pictures of our entire staff, plenty of ways to contact us, career opportunities and financing options.

 

At the top right of the header, there are two other sites:

These two sister sites, possess surprises, humor, client engagement and put a different spin on plumbing and excavation.
