It is easy to get caught up in the day to day. Projects, deadlines, problem solving, and the steady pace of business can quickly take over. Every now and then, though, you get an evening that pulls you out of that rhythm and reminds you of the bigger picture.

For our team at C2IT Consulting, the Celebrate Aspire 2026 was one of those moments.

Hosted by Aspire Johnson County, the event brought together business owners, leaders, and organizations from across the region to celebrate the work happening in Johnson County. During the evening, C2IT was honored to be named a recipient of the Business Success Award, a recognition we are incredibly grateful for.

An Evening About People, Not Just Business

What stood out most was not the award itself. It was the room.

Conversations with local leaders, stories from fellow business owners, and the shared sense of momentum across the community made it clear that something meaningful is happening in this region. There is a collective drive not just to succeed individually, but to build something stronger together.

As noted in coverage from the Daily Journal, the event highlighted organizations making an impact through growth, innovation, and community investment. Being included among those businesses is something we do not take lightly.

It was a reminder that behind every successful organization are people showing up, solving problems, and investing in others.

A Moment to Reflect

Recognition has a way of making you pause, and this one certainly did.

C2IT has spent more than 20 years working alongside businesses, nonprofits, and local governments, helping them navigate technology and build systems that support their goals. Over time, that work has expanded into IT services, software development, cybersecurity, and digital solutions.

In recent years, we have seen steady growth and new opportunities, but those milestones only tell part of the story. What matters more are the relationships built along the way. The trust earned, the partnerships formed, and the shared wins with the organizations we serve.

This award feels like a reflection of that broader journey, not just a single moment.

Success Is Shared

One theme echoed throughout the evening. No one gets there alone.

Every organization recognized had a network behind it. Clients, partners, mentors, and community support all played a role in their success. That truth resonates deeply with us.

Much of our work happens behind the scenes, supporting others as they grow and operate more effectively. Whether it is helping a local government improve infrastructure, supporting a nonprofit’s mission, or equipping a business with better tools, our role is often tied directly to someone else’s success.

That is what made the night meaningful. It was not just about individual recognition, but about shared impact.

Grateful for What’s Ahead

We are thankful to Aspire Johnson County for creating spaces like this, where businesses can connect, celebrate, and be reminded of the role they play in a larger community.

We are also grateful for the people we had the chance to meet and reconnect with throughout the evening. Those conversations are what stick with you.

More than anything, we left encouraged.

  • Encouraged by the strength of the Johnson County business community.
  • Encouraged by the collaboration we are seeing across industries.
  • Encouraged by the opportunity to continue contributing in our own way.

It was an honor to be recognized, but even more so, it was a privilege to be in the room.
