While this year’s Plainfield Chamber Golf Outing at Deer Creek Golf Club in Clayton was bookended by storms, our team weathered the conditions and represented C2IT well both at our tent and on the golf course as players.
Much of our team took shifts helping out at the tent C2IT had at the 11th tee which included the return of a fan favorite activity – the Crappy Chipping Game – in which golfers had 5 foam golf balls they had to try to chip into a child’s training toilet. Winners won a Titleist Pro V1 golf ball. We also had a Guess the Number game and a drawing for a team lunch from Chic-fil-A.
On the course, C2IT was being represented in a foursome by Andrew, Joe, Megan and Isaiah. After a slow start, the team finally found their rhythm and ultimately had a great time on the links.
Our team had a great time at the outing this year, and we look forward to participating in next year’s event!
