Storms rolled through the area on August 4th, threatening to make the Plainfield Chamber of Commerce Golf Outing a washout. Despite the ugly start, dozens of teams and over a hundred golfers enjoyed a great day at Deer Creek Golf Club.
The C2IT Team was out in full force, meeting the golfers, playing games, handing out prizes, and sharing a little bit about how C2IT can help business achieve more with their technology. We had a number of games for golfers to test their skill – bouncing a golf ball on a sand wedge and the snowglobe golf ball / tee game were the favorites. Only three golfers were able to get the ball on the tee in under a minute throughout the day.
Later that week, we drew names for prizes. The winners were:
- Jericho Warren – $100 gift card
- Alex Hershey – Range Finder
- Valerie Wenstrup – Titleist Golf Balls
- Blake Lowe – Chick-Fil-A catered in for the team (of up to 10)
Ultimately, it was a great day and we had a great time as a team interacting with the great people and business leaders who make our community great!
