Cyber-threats are a growing concern for everyone, from consumers to businesses and municipalities. Over the past year, C2IT Consulting has been working toward becoming a leader in the field of cybersecurity. Poised to add this offering to our already robust set of skills, C2IT sought out qualified candidates to help us lead the way.
One of the qualified candidates we interviewed was Wendy Potts. From the first time we met Wendy, we knew we wanted her to be a part of the team. With a degree in IT and a focus on cybersecurity, she was someone we felt could really help us provide incredible cybersecurity support to our clients and enhance our team.
Wendy started the first week of October and hit the ground running. One of her first tasks was clarifying our cybersecurity offerings while working closely with an insurance agent that sells cybersecurity coverage to ensure our products fulfill the requirements for their policies. She has also impressed us with her networking and Linux skills. As a matter of fact, Wendy won 1st place in the SANS Cyber Fast Track / Cyberstart Go Competition. Suffice it to say, Wendy brings a lot to our team in a variety of areas with a variety of skills.
In her personal time, Wendy is a gamer. She met her husband while gaming, and it is a pastime they enjoy together. She also likes watching k-dramas, visits from her daughters, decorating her home, and being entertained by her two cats. Wendy loves her family, and is excitedly expecting her first grandchild in July!
We are excited to see what the future will bring in the realm of cybersecurity, and we’re happy to have Wendy with us to lead the way.
