When you’ve been in business for thirty, years you’ve seen a lot. But a global pandemic isn’t one of those things. D&E Printing has been serving the greater Hendricks County area for more than three decades, so we were excited to get the opportunity to redo their website and improve some of their business processes. The D&E team had a vision for what they wanted but weren’t sure exactly how to get there. Like many forward thinking businesses, D&E Printing uses an industry specific software to optimize their fulfillment and service for their clients. Softwares like these are great for operations but often have clunky website features that make it difficult to accurately portray the quality of professional services provided. This was the case for D&E Printing; they produce high quality custom print products with great service, but they felt their current website didn’t reflect that.

VP of Sales, Jesse Mizell, was a true partner in this project. He brought ideas and vision, and was quick to communicate once the project got underway. D&E not only provides great products to consumers, but they also work with a number of large companies and need to increase their ability to serve those clients without losing the hometown feel and service that they’re founded on. We started by creating a new landing page that highlights D&E’s service and then allows either consumers or companies to quickly get to the products they need to order. There was a small hiccup that came up in creating the corporate stores that we weren’t able to see until we got deeper into the project. We brought it to Jesse’s attention who asked clarifying questions when these challenges came up so that we could all stay on the same page. He said, “I got a little anxious when we found some unexpected issues. Because I know you can get down a really expensive rabbit hole with some technology companies and not get any value for it. The entire team at C2IT was transparent and easy to communicate with. They worked through the issue and delivered results that were on scope and better than I ever thought.”
In addition to redoing the D&E Printing Website we implemented a new large file sharing system. As you can imagine sending and receiving large files is critical for a printing company. Over the years they’ve used various programs for different needs. They’d outgrown most features of their previous large filing sharing software but still needed that sharing capability. We helped them identify and install a new system that serves their needs and reduces expenses more than 75% a month.
